The Woodland Wellbeing:

An immersive eco-therapeutic experiences in natural woodland  settings, designed to promote connection, renewal, resilience and action.  

Participants can choose their own pathway including one or more of the activities listed:

  • Therapeutic Horticulture
  • Yoga. & Mindfulness 
  • Forest Bathing
  • Woodland Crafts
  • Volunteering

Horticultural / Woodland Volunteering

Learn how to support the woodland/garden management team with garden maintenance, coppicing, weeding out invasive plants and clearing paths.

Therapeutic Horticulture

Learn how to grow organic vegetables using the No-Dig technique and the benefits of eating a healthy balanced diet.

Yoga for Wellbeing

Develop a personal toolkit of Yoga practices that support mental health and wellness. Support will be given to make healthy lifestyle changes and develop a daily Yoga practice.

Mindful Movement

Learn a series of mindful movements based on Tai Chi and Yoga movements to reduce stress and tension and gain the serenity needed to return to a state of wellness.

Sustainable eco crafts

Learn a sustainable eco craft in a calm and peaceful woodland environment. Crafts include, green woodworking, natural mandala making, willow weaving, nature looms and flower pressing.

Training Workshops

• 1-day Introduction to nature-based practice for deep relaxation and healing– 1-day workshop (multiple dates)
• 1-day Introduction to Social and Therapeutic Horticulture (multiple dates)
• Specialised courses for therapists, students and practitioners available on request.
